So, all this cottage living is keeping me so busy it feels like it’s been forever since I’ve been on this here blog. It has been weeks, fun weeks. The days are long, the weather has been perfect and I could not be happier spending these days watching my kids make the same memories I have of my brother and I together. My favorite moments are when I can sit on the dock, with a book and my one cup of coffee for the day and just watch then wander, explore, laugh and play together along the shore.
There has been a lot of this
I have sat back and laughed and enjoyed every single jump, and joined in plenty of times too.
Tonight I am back in my hometown after having gone to a wedding of an “old” friend earlier. It’s funny how being back here makes me feel so at home. I guess there is no erasing 20+ years of memories, whether I am at the cottage or at “home”. I am waking up bright and early tomorrow to run the few miles over to where I grew up. I can’t wait to run down the street, see who is out (if anyone) and see what my old home looks like now. Being here just feels comfy and I love it.

Oh what I wouldn’t give to have a place on the beach or the water! OR a really good friend that would let me hang out whenever I’d like. lol What a blessing! I bet sometimes though it isn’t such a blessing!
