Okay, I have already said that I am not making anything for the holidays this year. I am just not feeling it. But, I know there are plenty who love this time of year for getting all decorated up and crafting to their heart’s content. That was me last year. This year, I will just be pulling out all the stuff I slaved over last year and enjoying it again. Who needs new?
I thought I’d do a little recap all in one post for anyone looking for some ideas:
Holiday Decorating For Less Than $2
Happy crafting. Or not crafting. Whatever you love.

I really like your ideas and agree, why make new this year! I have just made an advent calender out of my son’s old baby socks and scratch mittens. I embroidered the numbers on each one, attached them with wooden pegs to a piece of string and stuck it onto our mantlepiece! It isn’t perfect( I would have preferred to have used a Christmas ribbon and sewed each sock/mitten onto that), but as you often say it doesn’t matter that is isn’t perfect, as it was made with love. Also, I will not be making another one next year, this is to last him for many years to come! I always enjoy your blog. Happy Christmas!

I LOVE that pine cone wreath! So simple and sweet. That would be such a lovely holiday gift, too.
You definitely shouldn’t feel the need to do anything new – just enjoy your past labor!!
