{31 Days of Living Simply} Day 30 ~ Pause

Today, I am 32 years young. I am sleeping in with my family, and spending a quiet, relaxing day at the river with them. There is nothing like a birthday to make me look back at the year behind and be hopeful for the year ahead. It’s a good time to slow down, be grateful for where and who I am. Today, I’ll be taking pause – appreciating the little things, being grateful for friends and family, and savoring the moments that make up this day of celebration.

I’ll be thinking back on the progress of the last year and daydreaming about the progress ahead.

I’ll be eating cake.
