There is nothing quite like a quiet morning at the beach. Enjoying the quiet, the feel of sand on my feet, hearing the waves crash, pointing out far away sailboats that look like toys, filling a bucket with shells to bring home, quietly and gently answering a little boy’s big questions about everything around him.
There is nothing quite like experiencing the wide expanse of the ocean and the endless acres of sand on a Friday morning with my son to remind me how much I have to be grateful for.

I can’t wait to be able to get back to the beach this summer – roll on August
Thanks for the lovely photos x

You have such an outstanding perspective on life – and always the best accompanying photos. Your post prompted me to turn off the stupid TV (do I really need to see Sting perform on the Today Show? No.) and open the window. I’d rather listen to the Las Vegas birdies sing and sip my coffee. Funny how everything we need to relax is right outside – free – no costly cable subscription or gear required. Thanks for another great post.

And oh how much you HAVE to be grateful for! In these pictures, one of those things appears to be peace…
You lucky girl! Being that close to that much beauty must be amazing;-)
