(the usual morning hide your head under a pillow in hopes mom won’t find you and take you to school)

(ran errands while they were in school then had to get gas. ouch.)
Had some time to kill before the wee one was out of school, so walked around downtown looking like a tourist with my camera around my neck

(is it weird I am totally in love with this old bumpy, wavy brick road?)

(I should know better than to ask a 3 year old to smile for the camera)
Back in the car. Glug glug glug.

(a very important call he just had to take)
Yum.
the boys go fishing at the beach
I cook while they play
(no, I don’t have 3 kids)

(Still a total mess, butI finally put all that laundry away!)
Good night.

What a fun post!! I love having a look at your daily life.

I think that looks like a great day! How blessed you are!

Absolutely charming. Plus, kudos to you for picking up a camera for the day – something I don’t do as often as I should and know I’ll regret later.

This was the best. Its a poetic life thing. I hear so much more than your words here, I love the buzz of your life. I hope the day was happy for you because it looks genuinely happy from where I stand. Thanks for this. Posts like these are my faves. They make me feel “normal”
we all have a unique way of doing normal dont we? Im so glad you made time to remember this.

Beautiful post. I can’t help but be a tad jealous over your cheap gas prices. It’s $3.25 here in LA right now. Thank goodness I walk to work and only fill up once a month!

Hubba-wha? 950 email messages? WOW! Just found you from TidyMom… it’s nice to meet a fellow shutterbug!

I love seeing moms do the real stuff, it seems fancy and romantic reading someone else doing it, gets me through my day of juggling four kids and taking care of my home. Thanks for making me smile.

How very, very sweet!!
I enjoyed this and might just do something along these lines one day soon
I love that wavy brick road too
You throw all self respect to the wind and lay on your stomach to get a picture of it from that perspective – I bet it would look stunning!! And tell me if you do – I toooootally don’t want to miss it!!

Life is good, huh? I enjoyed this so much. I love those bricks too– don’t know what it is– great picture.

Love this concept! My favorite images include the brick road, the toes (painted ones and your child’s!), the laundry basket (reality) and that fabulous St. Louis Starbucks mug. My sister lives in St. Louis and I’ve considered buying it on the last five visits – it’s very cool. I finally broke down and bought it as a gift for my best bud. I just don’t need another mug here in Vegas, but I’m glad to see you’re enjoying it!
