Yesterday, hubby was feeling a little sad. I came home with the kids and found him sitting at the computer, right here at this little old blog going back through old photos of the house. While I started dinner, we poked around here together at the house remodel photos page (where there are links to other projects I’m not showing here today). It didn’t take long to lift him out of his funk after looking back and seeing now how far we’ve come. Here’s a little trip down memory lane with befores and afters in one place. Just for fun.

Now…

Being in this home for coming up on 4 years sure has changed things. The way we spend our time, the things we appreciate more, the pride we feel in making a home. It’s nice to be able to go back and look at pictures and see visible progress.

You’ve done an amazing job! Your home is beautiful.

That is sooo awesome, Emily! I am with you, it is amazing to look back and see all the hard work that you have done and how different it all looks. I tell my husband all of the time that this is so not the house we moved into
It all looks beautiful!

I was just reading on someones blog this weekend that a study done in (I think) England showed that looking at photographs is the best thing you can do to brighten your mood

Just wondering if you remember where you got that awesome step stool your little boy is using…all the ones I’ve been able to find are too short!
