Fall Decorating Ideas

Fall Decorating Ideas

I’d love to show you all of the simple little touches I have added around my home now that it is fall. My camera cord is upset though. I can’t tell if it’s mad at the laptop or the camera but it’s unhappy and not working. So, I will show you the one thing I had done last week, before I did the rest of my fall decorating.

Instead, I’ll show you what people who actually have pretty homes are doing for fall

There you go, be inspired. And if you’re like me you appreciate a little fall decorating indoors when it’s nowhere near fall outdoors. High of 93 here today. High chance of frizzy hair too. Some candles lit and pinecones in a basket in the corner make it all okay though.

Happy Fall!

Thanks for including me! I LOVE those houndstooth pictures.

It’s hot and humid here, too. Yuck! Just last week it was in the low 70s and so wonderful. But, it was just being a tease.

Sorry to hear about the techie troubles but you did well with the alternative.

I wish I’d seen these pumpkins a few years ago when the kids were younger.I love autumn but hate halloween I’ve always decorated to make it fun for the kids, though, and pumpkins were never my forte. These I love and could have managed!

    Hi!
Sometimes the smallest changes can make the biggest impact! Lighting the first fire in our fireplace the other night made it feel like it was finally fall around here! Flannel, wool, candles, pinecones – they all say FALL!
    Thanks for the inspiring post!
Hope you can come by for a visit sometime!

LOVE the fall decorating ideas/inspiration! I just discovered your blog tonight…it’s great! I also have a kids bathroom that has sat undecorated for four years now!!! The rest of the house is totally done (many times over!), but I just haven’t been able to do this one last room…so you have inspired me! Do you have any tricks on how to avoid the frizzy hair?? Mine has a mind of its own when it rains out…

These are so great! I especially love the dog silhouettes.

Around this time of year, I love to touch up my home with rustic decorating. If you haven’t heard of it, you should check it out…there’s a good article on it here: http://www.life123.com/holidays/more-holidays/november-holidays/autumn-decorating-for-rustic-charm.shtml

    Enjoy!
