Bathroom Remodel Progress

I think this is definitely a record for speediness in a room remodel. Things are coming along. The kids and I all got feeling better enough that we could leave the house yesterday. We went to the river and enjoyed the great outdoors for an afternoon, soaking up all of the before-school-starts moments we can. While we were away, hubby was able to take up the toilet and finish tiling the floor. The toilet is back on (whew! I was afraid to drink my coffee today until it was back in place, if you know what I mean). Most of the trim is in. I decided to get this project moving along and grabbed a paint brush to prime the walls and get them ready for paint this evening. This was a momentous occasion that needed to be documented, so the world could see that I don’t *just* take pictures and show off the end results of projects here. I am actually part of this whole thing. And hubby only told me a few times I was doing it all wrong. Then he took to closing his mouth and just taking pictures. This is the only photo that isn’t a close-up of my behind. Can you believe him? Men. He was supposed to be installing trim.

We are using what we have, painting with a color we’ll mix from our many cans of oops paint. I hope it turns out as clean and peaceful and serene as I am picturing. I hope the weekend brings more progress so I can show you how fabulously wonderful it all is turning out to be on Monday.
