After 3 days in the car, we arrived at the cottage Friday afternoon. Pulling in and walking out to the deck, seeing the serene lake with the sun shining on it, made the long drive with two antsy kids worth it.
We’re settling in, trying to find a good mix of real life and vacation fun.
I took my daughter out kayaking yesterday

We’ve been enjoying mornings in front of the fire

and afternoons outside in the sun

Many more photos to come. I’ll be taking you all on a tour of the cottages and the garden in the coming days.

it definitely does look serene. Can’t wait to see the picture tour. That fire looks so cozy behind the babes.

Love that shirt the little one is wearing in that last photo! AWESOME! I would love a skirt in the same print. It just looks like summer.

Thank you for sharing. We are in the middle of a hot drought and there is a serious shortage of water (obviously!) so even long showers are a luxury!
Thanks for being such a blessing to me, just by doing what you do.
WHen you share your pictures of cottage life, it provides a rest and relief seeing all those gorgeous greens and water.
