The only reason I am cutting myself a break for not having done one. single. project. over the past two weeks for Melissa’s procrastinator party, is because I actually did complete some projects before the party even started. And I did add a frugal window treatment in the kitchen. Maybe that counts.
I really did have grand ideas. I was going to paint a dresser. Or make a train table for my son. Or put up beaded board in the bathroom. Can I blame my broken dishwasher? I spent about 20 hours a day washing dishes. Yeah, that’s it. No, really. I didn’t do that. I did spend a lot of time outside.
And entertained my visiting mother-in-law. And was a beach bum. And worked in the garden.
I am done making excuses. I may not have accomplished much in the way of projects, but lots of other people did to make up for it. So go check out the Project Procrastinators Party: AFTER Photos to see what lots of fabulous, creative women around blog world have been up to over the past couple of weeks.

That boardwalk looks SO enticing. I would have chosen that over projects ANY day.

It would have been hard for me to choose any of my projects over a day like that. However I like the idea of the Procrastinator’s Party…maybe I’ll throw myself a little one and finish a couple projects.

Don’t ya just love ‘to do’ lists and procrastination. What is at the bottom of one can go at the top of another. At least, that’s how it is here.
