A Perfect Ending…

…to our very imperfect day.
The medicine kicked in and the kids were ready to play, we needed some family time, so off to the beach we went for an evening of salt water play. I packed a picnic dinner and some beach toys. It did us all some good. Hubby doesn’t make his way onto this blog too often, other than when I talk about all the amazing do-it-himself projects he does. After all his hard work last weekend obliterating the last of the old walls and putting up a new and very pretty wall, the man needed to get home from work and just relax. He got to just be with the kids and me. It was really nice.

Oh, how nice! I’m so jealous. My DH is, too, since he came home, cleaned out the garage, and then had to take us out for dinner.
