The bug has set in and I have long lists running through my mind of areas that I want to get organized around the house. I’ll be sweeping off the patio, clearing out cold weather clothes, and digging into corners of the house that have gone ignored for far too long.
I’ll be using some blog land inspiration along the way:

10 Tips To Reduce Clutter and Get Organized
I hope my endeavor goes well. I am glad things are pretty manageable, so the task doesn’t feel overwhelming. I like the idea of freshening things up around here.
Are you spring cleaning? What areas are you focusing on? Feel free to share tips and ideas!

Sounds like fun, if the sun is out! Today is so gray I don’t feel energized. I am pretty lame, I require all conditions to be perfect before I begin spring cleaning.
Happy cleaning!

I agree with Melissa! I have to have everything just so to make it a nice experience…not just cleaning!
Good luck!

I am the opposite – it was gray and dreary today so all I wanted to do was stay inside and get cleaning. It’s felt springy here for a while though so I have had time to let it sink in before getting started.

The spring cleaning bug has hit here as well! Most of our cleanup up has consisted of cleaning up fallen trees from the ice storm we had a while back! Sheesh! I feel like a lumberjack! On another note, we have just “reopened” our Koi pond. We built it last year, complete with a water fall we also constructed. If you have one now is a good time to get the pump installed (if you had to remove it for winter), filters cleaned, and put the necessary additives in the water. The fish seemed very happy winter is over too!

Usually I clean to avoid other things
Hehe, just kidding (most of the time anyway). For me a good way to get myself to want to clean is by re-arranging the furniture. It 1) freshens up the room and 2) forces me to see how nasty things are so I *have* to clean before I go nuts.

Thanks for the inspiration, I really need to get on with mine. The house is scary once actual sunshine is shining on it
