Those are beautiful kitchens. I once had one but we downsized into a house w/pink tile on the floor. The walls are not wood or plaster or drywall, sort of cheap old paneling. After looking at the big picture for 3 years, I finally took wall paper border down and bought some paint. My husband and I put laminate tiles down which look awesome for under $100. We also bought a restaurant table and 2 wire shelves. We had to tear back to one wall so out went the cupboards. You know, because I’ve gotten rid of all but the essentials in my kitchen, it looks wonderful and simple, simple, simple. Of course I would love a country sink, but I find great joy in the old stainless sink when it is empty, sanitized and shiny! My four white plates, 4 white bowls and 3 glasses look beautiful and clean above the sink. I put my spices in small canning jars with silver lids. The food is neatly set on a small wire shelf. I am so happy to have this home with my wonderful husband and son. For us, simple, frugal living is what I like to see in my big picture. I am thankful for everyday we have together.
