You’re so right, isn’t it amazing how sometimes we have to step back from the hustle and bustle of current living and determine what’s right for yourself. Spending time with people is much more important than spending money and it’s also amazing at how many things you can do which doesn’t actually cost that much

What a sweetie pie! Yes, you will turn around suddenly one day and wonder where the years went. Our five are 18 to almost 24. Having quality family time is what matters most for us as well. My DH and I love spending as much time with the kids as possible and love doing simple activities with them. You can't put a price on these activities as they are priceless. Our favorite frugal activity is tennis. My kids are young, but they love running around the court and hitting the ball. My husband and I decided starting this year that we are limiting birthday presents and Christmas presents. We are going to start giving our girls outings with us. The outing can be one on one with Mom or Dad. Or an outing as a family. Those will be the memories that they remember. Not that they received X for their 2nd Birthday. Oh, my little 2 year olds grew up to be 20, 17 and 8 in the blink of an eye! I would go back and spend even more time with them, even though I was purposefully spending time treasuring them even then! Looking back it was such a short short period of time, I really can think of so many more things I wish I had done!
