It’s not the kind of progress that involves any pretty colors or fixtures, but it’s progress nonetheless. To see the beginning of this project, you can check out the before photos and demolition photos.
A couple weeks ago, hubby pulled all the exterior siding off and we were able to get rid of it in under an hour by using Freecycle. The back walls came down and hubby then poured a concrete footer. Over this past weekend, the studs went in
and then the first layer of plywood (reused from the old floor) went up
It may not be pretty, but it’s sure nice to see progress. I am still dreaming of a cottage style bathroom. Coming soon…

Progress is being made! Exciting to see the small changes taking place isn’t it?

I like that you’re reusing the plywood and going through freecycle. I must’ve missed that on earlier posts. Looking good!

Thanks Pete! I am glad we’re at a place where the progress is visible. For a couple weeks, he was out there working all the time and I couldn’t see any difference
Christine, we have done our best to Freecycle, Craigslist or reuse as much as possible so as to reduce our footprint through this project. I hate to see anything remotely useful to be taken to the landfill. I’ve learned that there’s almost anyone who will take and use something that is free.
