This week was back to reality for my family. Settling back in after our trip, my daughter headed back to school, and no more sleeping in having lazy mornings together – we were back to driving around to school, playgroups and errands. I am really glad it’s the weekend!

I have a post up this morning over at Frugal Hacks about Making Your Own Children’s Toys. I will assume you’ve already read somewhere this week about the new law going into effect February 10th regarding the sale of all products for kids under the age of 12. One way to get around concerns about products we’re giving our kids is to make our own so I shared a DIY toy and some other links. Check it out if you have a chance!
From my reader this week:
- Restyled Home had a great 3 part series about living small starting with part one: It’s Small, Get Over It. Be sure to check out the other 2 parts while visiting!

I miss those lazy mornings too. I HATE school day mornings. Way too hectic. Looking forward to spring break.
Thanks for the link Emily. I hope you have a great, relaxing weekend.
