Link Love: New Year Edition

The new year has been a time of reflection for me. I am trying to settle in after our whirlwind trip and the resulting emotional drain of it all. I have never been big on resolutions so I haven’t made any. For the first time in my life a new year is here and I find myself simply wanting to continue on with what I am. I know the year will bring change, good and bad. I know that there is always room for improvement. I am striving for things that are inside me (continued contentment, gratitude, faith, love, and simplicity). I know with those things, that all the other external stuff will fall into place resulting in a year better than any other.

I have slowly dug through my reader from the past week and have a few things that I’d like to share. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did!

I like your non resolution of continuing on with the way things are… it shows contentment! And I’m glad I could send some traffic your way.

Hi there — just wanted to write a quick note to say that I enjoy reading what you’re publishing here. I’m working toward a more reflective, slower-paced lifestyle myself, and it’s helpful to see how others are handling some similar issues.

Keep up the good work! :)

Sometimes things are good and don’t require change. The new calendar is nice but it doesn’t change us. We change as things happen good or bad and hopefully we adjust the best way.

Happy New Year Emily! Thank you so much for the mention. I too don’t do the whole “resolution” thing. Everyday is a new day. Why save change just for Jan01? :D
