I am slooooowly checking things off of my list of things to get done before Thursday. Cookies – baked. Gifts – wrapped. House – not clean. I’m working on it. I have been having so much fun this holiday season. Not one single project I have attempted has turned out right – from a concussion to sloppy homemade truffles to crumbly cookie dough. But we’ve made it all work and I am trying to remind myself of my goal to celebrate the imperfections rather than dwell on them. That too is a work in progress.
Here are some links that I enjoyed this week. I hope you enjoy them too and then enjoy the rest of your weekend!

Hi Emily: I don’t know, that magnetic advent calendar was really cool (although by “turning out right” I guess you mean that nothing looked exactly like it did on the magazine; that’s OK). Thank you for the link. Merry Christmas

{hugs} I’m proud of you for living a great life even if it is imperfect! That is the best way to live.
Take care of yourself.

It’s hard to believe that it’s almost Christmas – the stores have had Santa decorations up since Labor Day around here. Thanks for the dual mention!

Thank for the Santa mention, Emily. The old guy has already started nagging me for another guest post. I was like, “No Santa, you may not have the Easter Bunny’s spot.” He pouted all day.
