Link Love

This was a long and emotionally draining week. I am hoping things start to look up soon, and I am starting by spending the weekend baking gingerbread cookies with my kids – making fun memories while also using them as Christmas gifts for my lucky brother (shhh don’t tell him!) and a few others. I hope the week has treated you well and that you’ll be enjoying a nice weekend.

Here are some links that I’d like to share this week:

  • Glass Ball Wreath. This actually looks relatively easy, but I know it’s another one of those projects I would start and then something disastrous would happen, like I would break all the ornaments. But it’s so pretty and if you aren’t clumsy, I bet you could do it too!

Enjoy the links! Did this roundup make you hungry? For me, it did!

Lots of great links! and thanks for the linky love!!

Remember, I didn’t use REAL glass ball ornaments, I used the shatter proof ones from Walmart! – they don’t break! LOL

My friend makes those bulb wreaths, and they are amazing. She usually uses shatter-proof bulbs, but this year she made one using those big outdoor Christmas light bulbs (like, from the 70’s) that she found in her parent’s basement. Looks great, and it save the planet by (a) recycling the bulbs, and (b) prevents her parent from putting those energy-suckers on the house!
