Leaves In My Hair

Leaves In My Hair

Cool, crisp air, sun beating down, leaves scattered about. A chore? Or an opportunity? I chose to see it as an opportunity to live in the moment, love, laugh and create beauty in the everyday, making it extraordinary. Also extraordinarily wonderful is that my hubby noticed and captured it.

Very cool Emily – living in the moment is what it’s all about! You all look like you’re having an absolute blast…

We were out sledding this weekend (I guess it’s a little colder and whiter where I am!) – lots of fun, lots of laughs, and great memories!

All I can say is that you are wearing short sleeves in the fall! How fun is that!

    It’s freezing here today–but, I’m loving it!

What a beautiful post, Emily. Thank you for participating…more importantly, thank you for noticing and sharing your choice to celebrate in the midst of potential chaos. Bravo!

That looked like a lot of fun! I’d love to do something like that with my 5 year old and my little granddaughters but I never get a chance to.

Yes, I’m busy but that’s not the problem. Here on the West Coast of Canada, by the time enough leaves fall that you can rake them into a fun pile, they’re soaking wet because it rains for at least a while almost every day.

And rolling in wet leaves may be fun for Dog but I think I’ll pass!

What a sweet husband you have to capture it on film! I love the picture of you laying in the leaves with your kiddos. Way to go noticing the moment! Have a wonderful week of many more moments! Kelly

We’re deep under a foot of snow here in BC, Canada…and you’re wearing short sleeves! NICE! Your pictures almost make me wish I had kiddlets to play with. :) Beautiful family! (You look like a marathon runner Emily!)
