However ... I am quite frightened by the glass-drilling. Maybe I'll fill the block (I think I'm going to use a blue glass vase) and then turn it up-side down so the cord can come out the bottom? I'm in New England and the branches from the evergreens and the red winterberries I have growing wild make a huge difference. Red, green and white tissue paper (to fill the bottoms of bowls so you use fewer ornaments) is a big help too. Gotta try the lights in clear glass containers soon. Love your site!
