I hope all of you American readers enjoyed your Thanksgiving feast this week. My family celebrated quietly and enjoyed relaxing time together.
I didn’t participate in any Black Friday shopping. Instead, I slept in, relaxed with my kids, enjoyed the outdoors and did some baking.
I also enjoyed catching up in my reader and digging up some fabulous finds to share with you. So, here we go!

If you haven’t heard yet, Cost of Black Friday is Death for Walmart Worker. This post perfectly sums up the emotions I’ve been feeling since hearing about this.

Sounds like you had a perfect Thanksgiving holiday! We just went to my parents and it was so much fun to spend time with them and my siblings, too. Then for Black Friday, I got a couple of online deals and went grocery shopping to buy things to make our own turkey dinner. I am going to read that story about the Walmart worker, I was sickened when I heard about that.

We don’t have Black Friday here (CAnada) we do have a boxing day after Christmas but it doesn’t compare. I would do the same, stay home away from the madness. Hope you enjoyed your relaxing day

Sounds like you had a nice Thanksgiving. It’s a shame there’s a dark cloud over the holiday for some. Thanks for the mention.
