Simple Pleasures

The autumn season seems to bring out a sense of calm and simplicity. A slowing down and appreciation for little things like red leaves and hot cocoa.
I thought that it would be nice today to share the simple pleasures that we all enjoy. I’ll start and you can chime in with yours.
3 simple pleasures in my life recently are
- sitting outside sipping a chai tea latte
- snuggling on a cold morning
- an uncluttered and cozy room
Share some of the simple things in your life that make you smile, and make your day a little easier.
Today is Remodeling This Life’s first birthday.
Thank you all for being part of this blogging journey over the past year. I appreciate every one of you reading, commenting, supporting and encouraging me along the way. It has been so much more wonderful than I ever could’ve imagined. I have enjoyed meeting so many fabulous bloggers and learning from all of you.

1. Watching my one-year-old daughter look at books and make cute animal sounds

1. Sitting outside on a nice day and looking at my garden.
2. My morning cuppa hot tea (milky and sweet).
3. Cooking a meal with my husband and eating together.

Happy blogiversary! My simple pleasures lately…
- Waking up to go to work is much easier now that it’s light earlier
- taking a long walk is more than just a to-do to complete with the cool weather and beautiful trees
- something about the fall air, it almost vibrates with the color of the leaves and the fresh briskness of the breeze

Happy Blogiversary!
My Simple Pleasures:
1. Laying quietly to feel Baby Boy bumping around my belly!
2. Chick-Fil-A’s sweet tea — I’ve been buying it by the gallon!
3. Listening to my kids’ elaborate scenes they act out with their dollhouse — I know the only way for them to learn the loving words and situations they play-act is for them to experience them constantly, and I love that we can provide that for them.

Happy blogging birthday! My simple pleasures these days are: the smell of the cold air in the evening with a tinge of woodsmoke in it, finally getting a chance to wear my hand knitted things and my kittens’ every-increasing sleepiness as the days get darker and cooler.
