Sunday Link Love – Watching Gustav Edition
Hurricane Gustav should be making landfall along the Gulf Coast within 24 hours. Where I live is not in danger, but I am watching as one of my best friends packed up her family to evacuate, finally arriving at their destination at 2 a.m. today. I will watch as Gustav threatens to make families relive 3 years ago. I will watch and hope that people, homes, and lives are left wet but otherwise unharmed.
While I anxiously track this storm that might as well be hitting my home, because when it’s someone you love, it’s part of you, I will share some light reading to lift the mood a bit:
