Today’s feature is the bedroom, one of the most important yet neglected rooms of the home. At least in my house.

Here are some simple storage solutions for bedrooms:

Yes, this is my favorite tip for storage around the home, if you can’t tell. I like to make use of floor to ceiling space instead of spreading too much furniture around the walls. A relatively quick and easy solution to not enough storage in our bedroom and feeling like a dresser just wasn’t enough is this:

Hubby took a blank wall that used to house a 6 drawer dresser (not at all good for using vertical space or dealing with things that need to be hung) and built storage:

It’s not all that pretty, but it sure is practical. I plan to hang curtains over it…someday…but for now I like that having it open like that makes the room feel bigger and forces me to keep my stuff organized
