Weekly Links Hubby Is Sick Edition

August 17, 2008 at 6:00 am , by Emily

That’s right, my hubby is sick. Flu maybe? Whatever it is, it’s like I suddenly have 3 kids :)

Here are some links for your reading pleasure once you are done feeling sorry for me, er… my hubby.

  1. If you read nothing else this week, you must go read this post from Writer Dad about what he calls The Eighth Wonder of the World, better known as compound interest. He’s an amazing storyteller and the message here is brilliant.
  2. The Digerati Life wrote about Beyond Mortgage Payments, The True Cost of Home Ownership.
  3. One Bag Nation proclaims Reality Check: Other People DO Live Like This.
  4. Milk Your Money gives great ideas for Maximizing More Of Your Stuff.
  5. Blueprint For Financial Prosperity wrote 2007 Remodeling Best Home Renovations List. I bet you have NO idea why this article was interesting to me.
  6. Simple Mom did an excellent series about How to be Disorganized and Unproductive. #1 was Don’t Enjoy Your Job. Love this.
  7. Small Notebook says Add Grace To Your Budget. I love everything Rachel writes and this is no exception.
  8. Almost Frugal gives a great rundown of Five Frugal Toys Using Food. Very creative!!
  9. My Investing Blog asks What Do You Do If You Can’t Afford It?.
  10. This Wasn’t In The Plan says Just Do It. Plain and simple productivity.
  11. paradigm shifted gives tips for Keeping Grocery Costs Down Without Clipping Coupons.
  12. brip blap says finish each day and be done with it. Sounds like a perfect description of simplicity to me. I loved reading this. It was relaxing!
  13. Last but certainly not least, My Two Dollars provides 25 Frugal Ways to Reuse Everyday Household Items.

Enjoy your reading!!
