Links, Links and More Links!
Happy Sunday everyone! My schedule is all off because we got home Wednesday morning at 4 a.m. Suddenly it was Friday and I still don’t know where the week went.
I am very slowly getting back into the swing of things at home. We’re unpacked but my house is a disaster. Seriously, I should show photos just so you all know that I am human. Never fear though! Why is my house a mess? Because instead of cleaning it, I have been doing things like playing with my kids, catching up on my email and my reader, and instead of cleaning my dusty furniture, I’ve just been rearranging it. If I move it, maybe it will look pretty even though it’s dusty…um, right?
Anyway…since I have caught up on my reader completely *whew* I have some fabulous stuff to share this week. Let’s get started!
- First, if you haven’t already checked it out, The Money Life Network finished up our Frugal Things To Do In… series.
- Find out what Jenn @ Frugal Upstate has to say about Our Crazy Consumer Culture.
- Pinyo @ Moolanomy talks about Personal Finance Risks and Risk Management here.
- You can find Rachel at Small Notebook wrapping up her no-spend month here. This is so inspiring! Congrats Rachel! And while you are there, read her post about breaking free from financial fear also!
- This post already simple @ The Reductionist Speaks is really so perfect. I loved reading it and I am going to bet you will too.
- Find out what happened to Kacie @ Sense to Save that made her say that calling an expert was the right thing to do. I am all for DIY in most instances but sometimes you just have to get a pro to help you out.
- Clever Dude will tell you how you can lower your household cleaning costs by 2,000%!!!
- Over at Frugal Dad, The Happy Rock guest posted about how an emergency fund is more than just money.
- Following the rule of 10% is easy and the savings add up says David @ My Two Dollars.
- Check out this little backyard makeover from my very wonderful friend at qualcosa di bello that includes a wedding present from yours truly from 5 years ago!!
- Lazy Man and Money shared Extreme Foreclosure!. I have long wondered (even aloud here) about that show and what comes of the families. I can’t say I was surprised to read this.
- The fabulous Squawk Fox shares 5 Cheap, Easy and Healthy Family Dinners for $5. Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum! That was one for each recipe if you are keeping track.
- Wide Open Wallet shares her post living like kings. A good read and great perspective.
- 30 Ways To Make Your Life More Simple from On Simplicity has excellent ideas.
- You can find a dozen tips on how to live a deeper and more meaningful life right here at My Super Charged Life.
- Paid Twice says clutter costs you money in more ways than you think.
Okay, I’m done. Now go read!
