Here I am. At home. In real time. No scheduled posting, no guest posting, no re-publishing of old articles. Just me. Hi!

Photobucket

Our trip home was long and tiring and I am slightly bleary-eyed this morning. Oh, I guess it is afternoon now. We flew into JFK for our connecting flight last night and were supposed to leave there at 9. Instead, we sat on the runway for 3 hours and left at midnight, arriving in Florida at 2 a.m. and pulling into our driveway at 3:45 a.m.

We all maintained the highest level of sanity possible considering the circumstances and having to try to rationalize with a 4 year old and toddler why they were supposed to go to sleep on an airplane instead of their comfortable beds at home.

Our trip was fantastic, I was happy to share much of it with all of you. I was happy to see so many of you visiting along with me when I was able to be here. I would like to thank those who guest posted for me while I was away,

Sara from On Simplicity
Ashley from Wide Open Wallet
Pete from Bible Money Matters
Tales From The Road Less Traveled
Alison from This Wasn’t In The Plan
Miranda from Destroy Debt

I would also like to thank The Money Life Network for adding me to their fantastic network of sites while I was away. I have been a not so wonderful member while away but appreciate all of your help and support in the past few weeks in commenting, linking, and stumbling my posts.

Also, this little old blog has gained about 200 subscribers since I left 6 weeks ago. Hello and thank you to all of you who read this blog and make it what it is!

I noticed your site was growing quickly, I guess it’s because of the peaceful atmosphere there is in here (in this blog, I mean). I’m glad you had a safe trip home.
