5 Bucks Is 5 Bucks

Remember the incident with ViaRail when I was buying my train tickets? You should remember. It really wasn’t that long ago. Well, I did get my refund. Hooray! It took 24 hours for the refund to go through. I was being wary of purchasing a ticket until I had my refund, so I waited to buy my ticket for that 24 hours. When I went to buy my ticket the next day - the fare had gone up by $5! Don’t roll your eyes at me! $5 is $5. I was MAD! They held my money hostage and then jacked the rate up to boot. Not happy.

Somehow I think the trip will be lots of fun and I will forget about this sooner than later but still, for today, I am still a wee bit peeved at stuff like that happening.

I agree - this is not OK, but I also learned something really important from my husband: don’t sweat the small stuff! He’s very good at that,. Me? Not so much. But I am trying.

    Have a great trip. :)
