Sunday Linkfest!
Well, another week has flown by. I can’t seem to catch a break healthwise and have been battling a cold or strep or something or other for the past few days. I am seriously hoping next week brings me a little reprieve.
I haven’t been as good about keeping up with my reading because of feeling so cruddy, but I do have some stuff to share that caught my eye this past week.
First, I shared my best financial moves in college last week and have read a few other bloggers around the web participating and wanted to put them together here for you to read as well
Jim from Blueprint for Financial Prosperity’s story is here.
Rocket Finance’s story is here.
Mrs. Micah’s is here.
Brip Blap shared his in a two part series part 1 and part 2.
Other posts from my reader that caught my eye are
Healthcare feel like throwing money down the drain? Good, sometimes from PaidTwice. We’re going through strikingly similar circumstances at the same time and she’s reminded me to have a positive attitude about the mounting bills. I thought I was done at around $500 for everything but got hit with another $700 2 days ago. Whee! Fun times! It is good though, compared to the alternative of not taking care of something that could be serious.
Getting out of debt and world hunger at Mrs. Micah. I’m all for snowflaking to a better world!
I couldn’t agree more with this quote from My Two Dollars.
You can read about Urban Homesteading at Being Frugal and at Oh My Aching Debts.
Twelve Reasons to Turn Off Your Television over at Frugal Dad. Did he say Tom Petty? I think he said Tom Petty. I’m a fangirl. Go read how that really has nothing to do with the post.
Move Over Windex, There’s a New Sherrif in Town at SAHMmy. Find out who it is!
Links to Freshen Your Kitchen at Blissfully Domestic. I like stuff about kitchens!
What Do You See? at Blunt Money. I love this post about keeping it all in perspective.
Since we’re talking about how we see things in life, I also loved this post from My Super-Charged Life. 7 Things in My Life That Fill Me With Gratitude and Joy It is ever so important to stop and appreciate all that we do have instead of thinking of what we don’t.
I’ll end there on a positive note! Enjoy your reading and enjoy your Sunday!

Are you part of the blissfully domestic NING? If so, are we friends? If not, find me, I go by Darla on there.

Never mind, I just found you - we’re already friends - who knew! You helped me pick out a sauce pan I believe. =)

Thanks for including me in the list - and I hope you get to feeling better. A lot of people in our area (NYC) and my brother’s area (DC) have been struggling with a weird flu/coughing virus, including me. I guess the flu vaccine wasn’t for the “right flu” this year…
