"The suffering that you and I go through is a direct result of identifying with that which is in time." Meaning stuff, our bodies, and our "perspective" on who we are and what we're "meant" to be. He said a fantastic thing in the same lecture. "If you're a mother, you've got to be a mother! And at the same time, know: there is mothering, and here I am." I have the whole lecture I could send to you as an MP3 if you have a way for me to send it ;) I could put it on my site and link you too the hosting to download. While he is a Buddhist yogi, he has some powerful insights into Christian living too and overall, he would be a great listen for you as you ponder.
