It's sad when you feel the need to distance yourself from old friends, but I've done that too because I realised that they weren't the friends they used to be and I was putting more into the friendships than I was getting out of them. That might sound selfish, but life is all about being happy and I'd rather have a couple of amazing friends who are always there for me than ten who can't really be bothered anymore.
