		<description>Great tips. I think the most important thing for doing a remodel is to do your homework. By understanding your budget and your options to ensure your remodel goes as well as possible. I also have found by leaving a 15% leeway in your budget you can account for the usual unseen expenses along the way.</description>

		<description>I would add to be willing to look at seconds. Many stores exist that sell slightly off color, off size, or slightly damaged building materials that can be easily painted or fixed. Many times these materials are 80% off or more!

With the economy in the doldrums, now is the time to find some great deals!</description>
